The Mod brings the comfort of an upholstered armchair to a chair designed specifically for game tables, poker nights, and multipurpose dining spaces.
Its softly curved upholstered back and arms give it a more residential appearance than a typical rolling game chair, while the maple base adds warmth and substance.
For someone looking for a poker chair with wheels that doesn’t look like office furniture, the Mod is a particularly good fit.
The Mod has a generously cushioned seat with high-resiliency foam and Darafeev’s suspension seating system.
Suspension beneath the cushion allows the seat to respond as you shift your weight rather than feeling rigid underneath you. That becomes particularly valuable during longer poker games, board-game nights, or evenings spent around the table.
The upholstered arms and back provide additional support while giving the chair its relaxed, lounge-like appearance.
Use the lever beneath the seat to adjust the seat height from approximately 19″ to 22″.
That range allows different people to find a more comfortable position at the same table and makes the Mod especially practical as an adjustable game table chair.
It can also work well in rooms where the same table is used for dining, cards, board games, and entertaining.
The seat rotates 360 degrees, making it easy to turn toward another player, reach something behind you, or get in and out from the table.
For a substantial upholstered chair, the swivel function also means you don’t have to repeatedly drag the entire chair away from the table.
A tension-control knob beneath the seat lets you adjust the amount of reclining movement.
Tighten it for a firmer, more upright feel or loosen it when you want the chair to lean back more freely.
It’s a small feature that can make a big difference once you’ve been sitting through several hands.
The five-wheel base makes the Mod easy to move around a poker table or game room.
Instead of pulling a heavy upholstered chair backward every time someone sits down or stands up, the casters allow the chair to roll naturally into position.
This makes it a strong choice for anyone specifically searching for game chairs with wheels, poker chairs with casters, or a rolling chair that looks more appropriate with fine furniture.
The five-star base is made from maple wood rather than the plastic or metal base commonly found on office chairs.
Choose from Darafeev’s wood finishes to coordinate the chair with your game table, flooring, cabinetry, or other furniture in the room.
That maple construction is also one reason the Mod feels more like a piece of furniture than a conventional desk chair.
The Mod can be ordered in a wide selection of fabrics, performance fabrics, vinyls, and leathers.
That gives you considerable control over the finished look. Dark leather can give it a traditional poker-room feel, while a lighter textured fabric can make the same chair feel softer and more contemporary.
You can also select the maple finish and caster-cap finish.
All measurements are approximate.
