The Architect adjusts from approximately 25.5″ to 31.25″, allowing it to work as a counter height stool or a bar height stool, depending on your setup.
Easy Screw-Style Height Adjustment
The Architect adjusts with a screw mechanism underneath the seat. To raise the seat, turn it counter-clockwise. To lower it, turn it clockwise.
A quick turn to the left or right will not change the height. The seat needs to complete a full 360-degree rotation to begin adjusting.
For reference, about 6 full rotations equals 1 inch of height adjustment, so you can fine-tune the seat height without needing a toolbox or a manual.
A Space-Saving Backless Counter Stool
As a backless counter stool, it keeps sightlines open and can slide neatly under many counters when not in use.

My husband and I disagree with how tall a barstool should be, so this one is perfect since it is adjustable. The swivel is smooth, not too loose nor too tight. We knew we wanted 4 stools in total, but started with 1 (without the back for storing it under one side of the counter) to be sure it is what we want. And it definitely is! I just ordered 3 more, but with backs, for the other side of our counter-height bar. This stool was well worth the wait! Additionally, customer service has been fantastic. Fabric swatches were sent quickly and Deborah has been nothing but helpful with my many questions."

"Our delivery was delayed as our order was sent back to the manufacturer after arriving at eh Minnesota/Canadian border. The manufacturer immediately emailed regarding the problem, stating they were looking into it. A few days later I received another email stating they would drive the bar stools to the border themselves to ensure they would clear customs . We received the chairs a few days later. Customer service was professional and efficient. It was a pleasure dealing with a Canadian Company.
