Warranty

For Residential Use

Metal structures

The original buyer of a Trica product has a 10-year limited warranty covering any metal structure defects (welds) or any defects in fabrication resulting from human error.

Swivel plates

Covered under a 10-year limited warranty for any fabrication defects.

External features, fabric coverings and seams

Covered under a 1-year limited warranty for any fabrication defects.

Trica’s responsibility

Will be the replacement of defective components/parts that are under warranty.

How to benefit from Trica’s warranty

In order to benefit from Trica’s warranty, the retailer must supply a proof of purchase where the purchase date and the description of the product are clearly identifiable.

At no time will Trica be held responsible for labor and/or transportation costs between the retailer and his customer, such costs resulting from a service request.

What is not covered under the warranty

The normal wear and tear of the components mentioned above and paint finishes are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty is limited in that it does not cover any article not specifically mentioned. Except where stated by law, Trica will not be held liable for any instances of incidental, consequential or special damages.

The commercial use of Trica products cancels the above-mentioned warranty for residential use, except in the case of the addition of a commercial warranty as stated below.

For Commercial and Institutional Use

As a North-American manufacturer of tubular furniture, Trica offers to its retailers a commercial and institutional limited warranty.

The “commercial option” warranty is available by adding:

  • $15.00 per barstool
  • $7.00 per chair or table

The details of this warranty are the same as the warranty for residential use, except for:

  • A 1-year limited warranty covering any soldering and metal structure defects (welds) or any defects in fabrication resulting from human error…
  • (see residential)

If the retailer refuses the “commercial option”, the Trica product warranty will only cover manufacturing defects and will be limited to 30 days following the date of invoicing.

Product Care

Inspection and maintenance of furniture must be performed at regular intervals.

Examine welds

Examine welds and other points of stress every 6 months and remove the furniture if it becomes unstable.

Check and tighten screws

Check and tighten all screws every:

  • 3 months — for commercial use
  • 6 months — for residential use
  • or whenever loose

Maintenance

The life of furniture is not pre-determinable but is influenced by several factors such as their usage and their maintenance.

Multiple failures occurring after a period of several years may indicate that the furniture has exceeded its safe, useful life and should therefore be replaced to prevent any injuries.

Fabric Cleaning Codes

Fabric cleaning codes determine the best and least expensive methods of home cleaning for your furniture. Due to the various ways that furniture can be stained or damaged, there is no guarantee that the results will be completely successful. Use the suggested methods at your own discretion. Always pretest on a small area before proceeding.

To prevent overall soil from dust and grime, frequent vacuuming or light brushing is recommended. Use a professional cleaning service when an overall soiled condition has been reached.

Each fabric in our list, will indicate which cleaning code is to be used.

Cleaning Performance Fabrics

Always treat stains promptly. At first, remove any excess dirt or liquid with a paper towel. If the stain has already dried, gently brush off any excess material, then dab gently with a damp cloth or sponge until it disappears.

Visit www.vivalifefabrics.com for more detailed information on how to clean your fabric.

Vivalife fabrics are made in the United States using recyclable fibers. No PFC chemicals are used to produce them.

Vivalife saves the planet a lot of water as no water is used to grow the fiber nor to dye the fabric.

Cleaning Challenger PVC’s

Even though Challenger is a PVC, it has the soft feel of a PU. This means that it not only feels luxurious, it can also stand up to heavy use.

Endurepel Armour gives it the protection it needs to stand up to spills, dirt, and other contaminants while being easy to clean. In fact, most spills can be cleaned using water and a soft cloth. If you need more cleaning power, a mild detergent and a soft bristle brush should do the job.

Among all its other benefits, Challenger is also eco-friendly. Challenger is Prop 65 compliant, FR additive free, REACH compliant, phthalate free, formaldehyde free, heavy metal and lead free.

Brushed Steel

To clean the Brushed Steel finish, please use a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use Stainless Steel cleaning products as the stools are not made of Stainless Steel.
