The Riviera is a traditional octagon poker table designed for a room where the game table needs to look like real furniture even after the cards are put away.
Made from maple hardwood, it pairs an eight-sided tabletop with a turned pedestal base, built-in chip and drink areas, and a reversible top that converts from poker to dining.
Use it as a dedicated 8-player poker table for game night, then flip the tabletop over when you need a finished wood surface for dinner, drinks, or everyday entertaining.
Two Tables in One
The Riviera works as both a poker table and dining table, making it especially useful in game rooms, finished basements, dining areas, and multipurpose entertainment spaces.
One side of the reversible top gives you a finished wood dining surface.
Flip it over and you have a full poker setup with a felt playing surface surrounded by a solid maple racetrack.
It gives you the function of a dedicated poker table without requiring a room that can only be used for gaming.
A Traditional Take on the Octagon Poker Table
Compared with some of the more contemporary tables in the Darafeev collection, the Riviera has a distinctly traditional furniture profile.
The turned center pedestal, shaped feet, layered apron, and octagonal top give it the character of a substantial wood dining table rather than casino equipment.
That makes it particularly well suited to traditional game rooms, libraries, club rooms, finished basements, and homes with detailed wood furniture.
Built-In Space for Chips and Drinks
The poker side includes individual recessed areas around the maple racetrack for poker chips and drinks.
This keeps the center playing surface open for cards while giving each player a defined area around the perimeter of the table.
You can customize the table felt, chip liners, and coaster liners to coordinate with your room.
Choose from Three Octagon Table Sizes
The Riviera is available in three sizes, letting you choose based on the amount of seating you need and the space available around the table.
- 48″ Octagon — a good choice for a smaller game room or multipurpose area. Its more compact footprint makes it easier to work into a room where you still want space to move around the chairs.
- 54″ Octagon — gives players more elbow room and works well for a game room that regularly hosts several people without requiring the footprint of the largest table.
- 60″ Octagon — choose this size when you have the room and want the most generous playing area. This is the size I would consider first when your goal is a true 8-player poker table, especially if the chairs you plan to use are substantial.
Chair width matters, too, so larger upholstered game chairs may reduce how many people can comfortably sit around a particular table size.
Made from Maple Hardwood
The Riviera is made from maple hardwood, giving the table a sturdy furniture-grade foundation from the pedestal to the surrounding poker racetrack.
Maple has a relatively smooth grain, so the finish and the traditional details of the pedestal remain prominent rather than competing with a heavily figured wood pattern.
